Some matters can be settled relatively simply through one or more exchanges of correspondence. Our office strives to minimize back and forth communication and therefore costs incurred by our clients. We are usually able to achieve this by encouraging reasonable initial proposals and managing our client’s expectations. Unfortunately, we cannot control the responses or positions of opposing parties and therefore, do not recommend expending significant costs with correspondence between lawyers or the other party. Fees for negotiation are based an unlimited number of exchanges in a given calendar month. This option is better suited for separating couples with little to no property division, no child/ spousal support issues, and or parenting time issues. This option does not include court appearances, independently verifying financial disclosure or the preparation of any subsequent written agreement.
